Dylan Thomas thanksgiving in Whitchurch

There’s an event to celebrate Dylan Thomas’s life at St Mary’s Parish Church in Whitchurch, Cardiff.

The thanksgiving service starts at 6pm 26 October 2014, to mark the 100th Anniversary Of Dylan Thomas’ birth.

The featured readings include ‘And Death Shall Have No Dominion’, an extract from ‘A Visit to Grandpa’s’, ‘Lie Still, Sleep Becalmed’, set to music by Welsh composer Nathan James Dearden.

The guest speaker is Prof Damian Walford Davies.
