Coffee Rex: welcome to Aggies
Coffee Rex, Llandaff North, Cardiff, today waved a very fond farewell to Andrea, who established this successful coffee shop on the site of Lew’s old café. Llandaff North Post wishes Andrea and his family well for all they’ve done for Llandaff North.
Today was Aggies’ first day in charge. She, her team of Karen and Jo had a full café on the first day, with great support from her family, who’d brought along some cakes for the launch. We wish them all the best for the future.

Llandaff North Festivals 2020 virtual Christmas Lights switch-on
Tonight – 28 November 2020 – is the night the Llandaff North Festivals group turns on the Christmas lights. It will be a virtual event at 17:00 on Facebook and YouTube Live this year because of the pandemic. Details on this poster, and you can scan the QR code to get the link to join in.

Fresh off the SD card, here are some photos of today’s Llandaff North Festival in a boiling hot Hailey Park. It was a big festival this year with lots of stalls, animals, birds, barbeque, beer, rides, bouncy castles and fun.

Celebrating Kerala New Year in Llandaff North at the Salkaara restaurant
Salkaara restaurant in Llandaff North have been celebrating the Indian state of Kerala’s New Year with a special vegetarian feast today.
There was a vast variety of foods served on a virtual banana leaf and it was delicious.

Cornelly Close’s annual Big Lunch
Every year, the residents of Cornelly Close come together for a fantastic summer street party as part of the Big Lunch. This year is no exception and Saturday 9 June is the date. Please note this is a party for residents, we’re sharing the news as it’s a fantastic example of local community building.
